The Flesh Hounds of Khorne are crimson hued half-canine, half-reptilian hunting beasts. Their blank-white eyes are hooded beneath hooded brows and their slavering mouths are full of razor sharp fangs. They have blood matted hair running down their backs and across their shoulders and around their necks are great brazen collars, forged at Khorne's feet.  This is the description of the Flesh hounds, I wanted to achieve in my painting. In the Warhammer Lore, the daemon cavalry of Khorne ride to war on Juggernauts. The Juggernauts of Khorne are half daemon half machines, made of bronze and brass with fire for blood. I wanted to capture this description in my painting.   One of the four Chaos gods, is Khorne, who has his own set of daemonic minions. The Bloodletters are the most numerous of these Khornate daemons. When, I first set out to paint these daemons, I wanted a reasonably quick method, to put a Khorne daemon army together, I was going to need a 'few' of these little monsters.
